If you have less coverage than required, follow the instructions detailed under International Customers.
We provide secondary insurance coverage through National Interstate Insurance Company. This coverage is the minimum required in the State of Alaska and will activate if your primary insurance exceeds it's coverage limits.
If you are an international customer or have less insurance coverage than required, you must purchase and provide proof of supplemental insurance through an insurance provider. Please provide the following information for all drivers:
Liability Coverage Limits
Bodily Injury
If you're at fault for an accident that injures another person, bodily injury liability coverage helps pay for their medical expenses.

Liability Limit per Accident - This sets a cap on the total amount that our insurance provider will pay out for all medical expenses other people incur from a single accident you cause.
Property Damage
If you cause an accident that damages someone else's property, property damage
liability coverage helps pay for repairs.
Liability Limit - This is the maximum amount your insurer would pay to repair damage you cause to another party's property. The maximum payout will not exceed the limit set.
Comprehensive Coverage
Covers damages to the rented vehicle caused by incidents other than a collision including theft, fire, vandalism and weather.
Collision Coverage
Covers damages to the rented vehicle caused by an accident with another vehicle or any object, whether stationary or moving.
Renters Collision Protection - $21/Day
Reduces the collision coverage deductible from $1000 to $250.
